I do not need mods to enjoy the wide selections of weapons in the game. I am playing a sniper build run now and am using the Overseer's Guardian, on Very Hard level and it is going really well.Д«ut as others have suggested, use weapon mods if you think otherwise.

You need to mod those so they are effective for sniping. There is the laser musket ( a Two Shot 6 crank one, makes a great sniper rifle ) The Gauss, Overseer's Guardian, Radium Rifle, Handmade. That makes the combat rifle, assault rifle, gauss rifle, lever action rifle (Far Harbor), radium rifle (also Far Harbor), and handmade rifle (Nuka World) into a sniper rifle.
